Why do all the parks close at dark? I understand they do not want vandalism and most of it occurs after dark.
I would love to go to City Lake Park and take some night photography shots there. They always close when it gets dark. It would be nice if they could stay open for  an hour after dark.

I agree visiting a park after dark would be nice. I am afraid those who vandal and break the law would take advantage of the park environment after dark. If we lived in a world where law enforcement was abdundant, unfortunately, the budget will not allow this.
The scenery would make wonderful pictures. Good luck on that!
